"Come," he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

Matthew 14:29-31, NIV

Through this passage we know that when God asks us to come, first, we must have FAITH!
Do not be afraid of the 'wind' or you will be sinking. Fear = Faith in wrong places. Peter he was afraid and he began to sink because he did not have faith that the Lord could do miracles. Then, Jesus said, "You of little faith," Do not worry for even when you are sinking, God is there to catch you when you cry out to him.

Last Sunday, God gave me a prompt in my heart as the pastor talks about reaping what we sow. God told me that we have to sow seeds of FAITH! He gave me a vision, to see the whole school become saved, to break salvation and revival into the school. But that is reaping, what we have to sow are seeds of faith. Like last week, I shared that the seeds have to grow in good conditions, having good soil and not on a rock or surrounded by thorns. But there's another important aspect of growing well, that is the kind of seeds we sow.

Let us have faith that the Lord is here to help us and to guide us, let us rest in the Lord's faithfulness, for he keeps his promises. Now, let us claim this promise:

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
-2 Corinthians 2:14, NIV

Let us this week then pray for:
- God leading us in triumphal procession as we spread the gospel and be a testimony for the Lord.
- Sowing seeds of faith in good conditions, and that the Lord will let it grow well.
- Reaping a good harvest for the Lord in RI.
- Never letting our love and compassion for the lost grow cold or the vision to break revival and salvation die.
- Salvation in 1P AND 1Q.
- Our fellow classmates will open their hearts to recieve the Lord this Easter
- Open hearts as we evangelise(now[on de forum] and next time)

Started in Febuary 2007, Prayer Pointers is about...
Prayer Pointers is about GOD
Prayer is a communication between us and God. As we pray and request for salvation and revival, we are serving God's heart! As we fast, we tell God that we are serious that we want to see his power in our lives and in our school! We tell God that we want his kingdom to come and his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven! This Prayer Pointers was created for serving God and for his approval and not Man's! It is also for rememberance and the revelation of the cross that we serve out of our gratitude.

Prayer Pointers is about US
Prayer Pointers is like a weekly devotional, as we learn about God's word and it's application in our lives. Prayer Pointers is for us to grow together, to work together as one group to bring salvation and revival and in the midst of this, we grow spiritually! We grow more in faith as we see God's strength through our weaknesses! We grow more in love having a heart of compassion! We grow more in hope as we continue praying for our classes and school!

Prayer Pointers is about THE LOST
Prayer Pointers was started with a purpose in mind - to serve the lost. We want to break salvation and revival in each and every person, for God cares for each and every single person, no matter whether they are our enemies or friends. God's heart is for those who are lost, and we also have compassion for them! That's our driving force - the heart of compassion. And that's why we are praying together all for the salvation and revival of the lost.
